Job Duties:

Responsible for procuring goods and services including raw materials, equipment, tools, inventory, and supplies.

Research, evaluate and select vendors/suppliers on reputation and performance, production and distribution capabilities, quality, product lines, service and support.

Maintain vendor/supplier relationships, address defective products/services and negotiate contracts on behalf of the company.

Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies. Monitor inventory levels at branch locations and work with managers to forecast future needs.

Track orders domestically and internationally through use of a customs broker, communicating and coordinating arrival with company personnel.

Manage company fleet program. Maintain accurate procurement and vendor records utilizing company ERP.

Skills and Qualifications:

5 years prior experience in procurement/purchasing is preferred.

Ability to gather and analyze data for high level strategy and decision making.

Excellent communication skills and a knack for negotiation and networking.

Strong leader who works well with a team.

Periodic domestic travel is required as well as the potential for international travel a couple times a year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
