Equipment Service Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION: Technician will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field machinery diagnostics and repairs to all aggregate equipment components and systems. Must have strong diagnostic skills while following established guidelines and perform quality work as safely as possible with little or no direct supervision. Responsible for operating heavy equipment,servicing units to fulfill OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specificationswith good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
Maintain accurate repair records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases. Equipment Service Tech is required to have a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record. Attend training at local, regional, and national service schooling as required. Perform other duties as directed by the Service Management while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Excellent internal and external communication and customer service skills. Must have organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 100+ pounds. Strong welding/fabrication background and must be willing to travel as there may be occasional over night field service work. Equipment Service Tech works a minimum of 40 hours per week, payis hourly and will report to the service Manager.
