Equipment Service Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION: Supervises and schedules service crews, operates a mobile service vehicle and travels to customer locations to perform in-field machinery diagnostics and repairs to all aggregate equipment components and systems. Must have strong diagnostic skills while following established guidelines and perform quality work as safely as possible with little or no direct supervision. Responsible for operating heavy equipment, servicing units to fulfill OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications with good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
Maintain accurate repair records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases. Equipment Service Manager is required to have a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record. Attend training at local, regional, and national service schooling as required. Perform other duties as directed by the Branch Manager while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Excellent internal and external communication and customer service skills. Must have organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects. Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 100+ pounds. Strong welding/fabrication background and must be willing to travel as there may be occasional overnight field service work.
Equipment Service Manager works a minimum of 40 hours per week, pay is hourly and will report to the Branch Manager.
